I’m Nanz / Nandini Nair — a Senior Product Designer with over a decade of experience shaping digital products that help people work, learn, and connect. My journey began in brand and marketing design, evolved through UX/UI, and matured into end-to-end product design, giving me a holistic understanding of how strategy, craft, and systems thinking come together to build meaningful, scalable products.
I specialize in designing accessible productivity and community tools, with a focus on the EdTech and AI sectors. At Kami, I’ve helped create experiences used by millions of learners and educators worldwide, while also engaging with the global EdTech community through ISTE (US), BETT (UK), EduTECH Asia & Australia, and Stanford’s EdTech Remix. My work centers on advancing design maturity, building systems that enable growth, and fostering cross-functional collaboration where creativity meets data-driven understanding.
Previously, I was a Senior Product Designer at Laurel (Los Angeles), leading the design of internal tools and a scalable design system for a machine-learning-driven platform. I’m also a Fulbright Science & Innovation Grantee and hold a Master’s in Design from Carnegie Mellon University, where I deepened my expertise in research methods, HCI, and systems thinking. I believe design is at its best when it brings clarity and humanity to complexity — crafting experiences that are not just usable, but truly empowering.
